What are you trying to do?

Inspector path: Inspector Level 2 is always required. Inspector Level 1 can be completed through STI or replaced by an approved alternate qualification path. The questions below help determine whether an alternate path applies.

Are ASE A6 + A8 + L1 all current?

Do you meet one of BAR's qualifying education + experience paths?

Qualifying means either: (1) AA/AS or higher in Automotive Technology from a state-accredited or recognized school + 1 year of engine-performance repair experience; or (2) an Automotive Technology certificate with at least 720 total hours, including at least 280 hours in engine performance, + 1 year of engine-performance repair experience.

Do you have at least 2 years of engine-performance repair experience?
