The package can be used to qualify for the Smog repair technician exam or to renew your repair license as an alternative to the ASE A6, A8, and L1. This training focuses on electrical/electronic systems and engine and emission control performance. This training can be an alternative to ASE A-6, A-8, and L-1 certifications for re-certification. Students with at least two years of engine performance repair experience who complete this training may qualify for the state licensing examination for the Smog Check Repair Technician License.
